Dinner Money
The cost of a school dinner is currently £2.70 per dinner. Pre-School and Years 3 and Year 4 pay for school dinners (Reception, Years 1 and 2 do not have to pay as the government will provide the funding).
Dinners must be ordered (and paid for in the case of Pre-School, Year 3 and Year 4) in advance through the Swift Kitchen App. The cut off time is 8am on the day the school dinner is required.
Orders can be changed or cancelled before 8am e.g. if your child is not attending school that day.

Free School Meals
Transitional Protection (TP) Free School Meals (FSM) was introduced from April 2018. This meant that even if you no longer met the income criteria for FSM then your child could continue to receive them until the rollout of Universal Credit had completed. The Government has now announced that TP ended on 31 March 2025. Any eligible claims starting from 01 April 2025 will not be protected if your family income changes and no longer meets the qualifying criteria for FSM. For more information, click here.
