 Our Mission

The Dovery Academy Parents Association (DAPA) is a registered charity dedicated to enriching the educational experience for all children at Dovery Academy. We achieve this by organising engaging events and activities to raise funds, which directly support additional learning opportunities and resources for the school.

How We Operate

DAPA is powered by a collaborative committee and a team of passionate volunteers. While we have a formal committee structure, our approach is flexible and inclusive. We welcome support in any capacity, whether you're able to join the committee or lend a hand as an informal "happy helper" for specific events.

We hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the end of June each year. This meeting is an opportunity for families and carers to review our financial performance, discuss plans for the upcoming year, and endorse or register new committee members.

Who We Are

Our current committee is made up of:

  • Natasha Rantle - Chair
  • Hayley Parr - Treasurer
  • Dana Ord - Committee Member
  • Sophie Fowls - Committee Member

Our Impact

Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our community, DAPA has proudly funded a wide range of initiatives that directly benefit the children of Dovery Academy, including:

  • Contributing to the Forest School program
  • Funding the Music Programme
  • Purchasing new library books
  • Supporting Shakespeare activities
  • Organising a magical Santa visit, providing every child with a book for Christmas
  • Arranging an exciting Easter Trail with treats for all children
  • Covering the cost of end-of-year inflatables
  • Contributing to the cost of Leaver's Hoodies

With your help and support we hope to continue supporting all of these initiatives and potentially more in 2025-26!
