School Eco-Council
Dovery Academy now have a school Eco-council who are keen to make the school a more environmentally friendly place. We have chosen three areas of focus and these are waste, healthy living and bio-diversity. As part of the curriculum on ecology, the children have been to visit 'Greatmoor' an energy from waste recycling plant and have learnt that soft plastics do not need to go into general waste and landfill any longer! Please watch their video to tell you more.
Through their work we are hoping to achieve the Eco-Schools Green Flag.
