Welcome to Dovery Academy.

We are a one form entry lower school, set in extensive woodland grounds, which forms the backdrop to our caring and supportive environment.

As part of the Knowledge Schools Trust (KST) since September 2022, we have embraced a strong and ambitious curriculum, which provides an excellent platform through which our children can learn. Our staff are dedicated practitioners, who have a passion for teaching and the capacity to truly bring learning to life. As a consequence, our children enjoy learning and make excellent progress academically and also spiritually, morally and culturally, as we strongly believe in supporting every child to become positive and active members of their community.

Across the whole school, from pre-school until the day they leave at the end of Year 4, children have access to an extensive enrichment programme which includes music, art, forest school and sport, alongside a range of school trips designed to enhance learning. Children are also encouraged to become pupil leaders and to use their roles to support others and drive positive change within the school.

Our community is very important to us and we open our doors to parents regularly throughout the school year, providing them with an opportunity to take part in the life of the school, having the chance to celebrate and share in their children’s joys and successes.
